Brother John working with Asylum Seekers in Birmingham
John has had an interesting spiritual journey from Baptist Minister to Franciscan Friar. He has close links to NBC having spent some time as Assistant Minister here.
Now his journey has taken him to Birmingham where he supports those seeking Asylum.
Proverbs 31:8
“Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed.”
We stand with John as he seeks to do just that, providing help and practical care to some of those seeking asylum in the UK.
If deported many would face certain imprisonment, torture or even death.
